Digital Design Phase

Each piece begins as a carefully developed digital design. I thoughtfully plan every layer and visual element, often going through multiple rounds of refinement before reaching the final version.
I personally use Silhouette Studio for most of my design process. I find it intuitive and efficient, and it provides all the tools I need to bring my ideas to life with precision and clarity.
Precision Laser Cutting
Once the design is finalized, it is transformed through precision laser cutting technology. This process allows for intricate details and crisp, clean edges that define the character of my work.
I use diode laser cutters from xTool, which perform beautifully for both wood engraving and cutting, ensuring each layer is crafted with accuracy.
Hand Painting
After cutting, each piece is lovingly hand-painted. Using watercolor techniques, I add soft, realistic color that brings warmth and life to the wooden elements.

From vibrant yellow birds and delicate Lotus pads to graceful lotus flowers, every brushstroke reflects careful attention to tone, shading, and detail.
Meticulous Assembly
Each artwork is assembled layer by layer to create dimensional depth. I use wood glue from Super Glue Corporation, which allows enough working time for precise alignment while adhering securely and efficiently.
This careful stacking creates the distinctive topographic effect that gives my pieces their signature depth and character.
Protective Finishing
Finally, each piece is sealed with a clear varnish to preserve its beauty and protect the wood for years to come. This finishing touch enhances the colors, adds durability, and ensures that every artwork remains as vibrant as the day it was created.
